Stolen on the sth instant, at Gisborne, a bay gelding, hack-breed, four years old, 15£ hands high, branded VS on near shoulder and F on off shoulder, small star on forehead, black points ; had on an old small colonial-pattern hogskin saddle, flaps recently repaired under stirrup-leathers, germansilver stirrup-irons; all value £8 55.; the property of Edward Harper. Identifiable.
Supposed stolen on the 7th or Bth instant, from a paddock at Windmill Road Sydenham, a bay mare, eight years old, 15 hands high, in fair condition, clipped all over, thin mane, long tail, stands over on front legs, star on forehead, small white saddle-marks on back, believed branded on near shoulder, but the brand is not known, value £8; had on a white canvas cover, value £1; the property of Thomas Hancock.
Supposed stolen about the Ist ultimo, at Mongahea No. 2, Tolago Bay, a black gelding, hack-breed, about 15£ hands high, branded M (with a line through it) T (over) II on one of shoulders, and JW on rump; the property of Montague Stopford ; value £B. Identifiable.
