Resignations.

Rewards.
The sum of 15s. has been awarded by Mr. Robert Davies to Constable Joseph Kenny, Dunedin Police, in recognition of his exertions in connection with the arrest and prosecution of Patrick Carey, fined £1 and 15s. costs for damaging property.
The sum of £5 has been awarded to Detective Austin Kirby, Timaru Police, for the arrest of a deserter from the barque “ Aquila.”
The sum of £3 has been awarded to Constable Timothy O’Connor, and the sum of £1 10s. each to Sergeant William Thomas Mason and Constable Patrick McCormack, Lyttelton Police, for the arrest of a deserter from the barque “ Port Adelaide.”
The sum of £3 has been awarded from the Reward Fund
to Constable James Christie, Grahamstown Police, in recognition of his meritorious conduct in saving a boy, named Bernard Ivors, from drowning in the Firth of Thames on the 3rd ultimo.
The sum of £1 each has been awarded to Sergeant William Thomas Mason and Constables Patrick McCormack and Timothy O’Connor, Lyttelton Police, for the arrest of a deserter from the barque “ Thomas Bell.”
