Samuel Henry Richards, charg'd on warrant with deserting his wife and child at Heathcote Yalley, has been arrested by Probationary Detective Arthur Kirby, Timaru Police, and remanded to Christchurch.

Description: A native of the colony, about thirteen years of age, about 4 feet high, sallow complexion, dark eyes, brown hair cut very short; wore dark-tweed jacket and vest, coloured moleskin trousers, lace-up boots, and straw hat. He was licensed from the Caversham Industrial School to Mr. Gawn. Supposed to have gone to Tapanui.
