James Whorskey is charged, on warrant issued by the Auckland Bench, with making use of obscene language in White Street, Auckland, on the 27th February last. Description : Irish, a labourer, about thirty-six years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, medium build, dark-brown hair, moustache and goatee, cheeks shaved, high cheek bones, fond of drink. Unless he returns to Auckland, it is not desirable that he should be arrested. He was summoned for the offouce, but ho did not appear.

It is supposed ho has gone to Wangaroa or Hokianga.

William Town is charged, on warrant issued by the Gisborne Bench, with deserting his wife at Gisborne in October last. Description: English, a bricklayer and bushman, fortytwo years of age, about 5 feet 10 inches high, fair complexion and hair, usually clean-shaved, large cocked nose, peculiar walk, turns his feet out, and swings his hands when walking. It is supposed he has gone to Auckland.

Thomas O’Keeffe is charged, on warrants issued by the Dunedin Bench, with having assaulted William Toogood and Martha Rankin, at South Dunedin and Kensington, on the 26th ultimo. Description: Irish, a cabdriver and labourer, about twenty years of age, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, medium build, fair fresh complexion, dark-brown hair and very light moustache, checks shaved, criminal appearance ; when last seen wore dark-grey tweed sac coat, light-tweed trousers and vest, soft black-felt hat, and clastic-side boots. He was summoned for the offences, but failed to appear. It is supposed he has gone to Oamaru.
