Horticultural Education MASSEY AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE (University of New Zealand) offers the following courses in Horticulture: — THE DEGREE COURSE (B.Agr.Sc. (Hort.). This is a four year course, the first year being spent at one of the main University Colleges and the last three at the Massey Agricultural College. It is intended primarily for those wishing to make a career of Horticulture in the Advisory, Research and Teaching fields. THE DIPLOMA COURSE (Dip. Hort. M.A.C.). The Diploma Course is of two years' duration and is divided into two sections. While a number of subjects are common to both sections, students may specialise in Ornamental Horticulture or in Fruit and Vegetable growing. The Diploma course is designed to give a sound training to those students wishing to undertake the commercial side of Horticulture. A complete range of facilities covering the full scope of Horticultural activities is available for practical work and demonstrations. Hostel accommodation is available for both men and women students. Further particulars may be obtained from the Registrar, Massey Agricultural College, Palmerston, North.
