It is of great assistance to those examining the seed to have the sample arrive in a fresh condition. For this reason the sample should be rolled tightly in several layers of paper as soon as possible after it has been collected, and dispatched by the earliest mail to the Seed-Testing Station, Box 609, Palmerston North.
