• SPRING MEETING. The appearance of Mr. H. Coyle’s adjustments for the opening day of the Wellington R.C.’s spring meeting, to be held on October 26 and 28, has created wide interest in sporting circles, the inclusion of a large number of New Zealand Cup and Steward Handicap candidates among the list bearing a special significance as regards the prospects at Riccarton next month of the horses in question.
