The nominations for the Wanganui Jockey Club’s winter meeting are particularly good. El Gallo has been nominated for the steeplechase events and the Century Hurdles and Tararu Jack for the hurdle races on both days. Mullingar, Soldier, Coleraine, Fionnuala and Glittering Sands are other Auckland entries, and most of the best horses in commission for jumping honours and many of the best flat horses in. training are engaged.
