Winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry 71b penalty. Entrance lsov, and acceptance 3sovs each. One mile and a-quarter. GREAT NORTHERN OAKS of 500SOVS; second horse to receive 75sovs, and third horse 25sovs out of the stake. For three-year-old fillies, 8.10. By subscription of ssovs each, unless forfeit of lsov is declared and paid by 9 p.m. on General Entry Day, Autumn Meeting, 1916 (Friday, 31st March). All horses remaining in after that date must pay the subscription of ssovs on Friday, 14th April, by 9 p.m. The winner of any race or races (not a handicap) after Ist August, '1915, of the collective value of SOOsovs to carry 51b; of 500sovs, 71b; of lOOOsovs, 101 b extra. Ma'dens allowed 71b. One mile and a-half. BRIGHTON HURDLE RACE HANDICAP of 350sovs; second horse to receive 70sovs, and third horse 30 sovs out of the stake. Over eight flights of hurdles. Winner of any hurdle race after declaration of ■ weights to carry 101 b penalty. Entrance lsov, and acceptance 3sovs each. Two miles. GREAT NORTHERN CHAMPAGNE STAKES of lOOOsovs; first horse to receive 600sovs, second horse 200 sovs, and third horse lOOsovs out of the stake. The other lOOsovs to go to the breeder of the winner, provided that the horse is bred in New Zealand. In the event of this condition not being fulfilled, the lOOsovs to go to the first horse.
