Mr. Bowcher is a member of the Public Works Department, South Afr ca, and is engaged on the Cape .o Cairo railway. Mr. A. C. Wilshire, at present staying with Mr. C. C. Buckland Cambridge, has arranged to leave New Zealand by the Moana in May next for America. • • • e. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Chapman, Sydney, are at present in the Hot Lakes District, and will proceed via the Wanganui River to Wellington before leaving for Sydney on the 29th.

Mr. Lyster Nolan, of Kohukohu, North Auckland, has booked to leave next month for London.

Mr. H. Levi, Montreal, is at present engaged in a business tour of New Zealand.

Mr. H. G. Balakian, a well-known Alelbourne business man, left Auckland last week for a brief tour of Rotorua.

Mr. J. B. Godkin, of Ngaire, Taranaki, intends leaving by the Mali eno this month for a trip to San Francisco. He will be accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Agnew, of the Thames Hotel, Auckland.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Coleman, well-known Auckland residents, left for a visit to Sydney last week.

Mr. Walters, a well-known Auckland sportsman, sailed by the Riverina upon a holiday trip to Sydney.

Mr. Chandler, accompanied by Mr. T. L. Webb, left for Sydney by the Huddart-Parker steamer.

Mr. F. de Lautour has returned to Sydney, after a short holiday in the Poverty Bay d'strict.
