THE ROYAL RINK.

Roller-skating when it is under proper control can hold its own, both summer and winter. The Royal Rink in Khyber Pass is an instance of this. An ideal floor has been laid, pronounced to be the finest in Australasia, while the newly appointed instructor, Professor Irving, is said to be the finest expert and fancy skater in Australasia. A pianiste is in attendance at all sessions, and Mr. Irving takes every care to perfect one in the art. To-night is to be a black and white night, when Professor Irving will give an interesting exhibition of fancy skating.
