TAKAPUNA JOCKEY CLUB.

PROGRAMME FOR THE SPRING MEETING. The Takapuna Jockey Club are out with the programme for the spring meeting, and a strong one it is. The meeting will take place on November 26 and 30, and each day eight events will be decided, including one race for ponies. With the exception of the pony races, which are each worth 75sovs, no event will have less than lOOsovs attached. The chief event is the St. Andrew’s Handicap of 200sovs on the opening day, and on the second day the Spring Handicap of 150sovs. There is a race each day for two-year-olds; in fact, owners of every class of horse are catered for- As will be noticed from the advertisement, nominations for all events close on November 4 with the secretary, Mr. R. Wynyard, High-street.
