very big attendances each day night. Good racing and a committee. which show they will stand no crooked running contributed towards this successful result. The management now announce their big attraction for Easter. This will be the Grand East Gift of £25, distance 100 yards, for runners who have nev--er won £lO in cash. Also there will be run a Nursery Handicap of £7 10/, distance 50yds, for runners who have competed at previous handicaps held on the ground, and who have .never, wion a cash prize exceeding £l. These events should attract a big entry, and there should be some fine sport on the evenings of April 3 -and 4, when the running will take place. All nominations must be in the hands of Mr. W. Riley, the secretary, 15, Coombes’ Arcade, by 9 p.m., March 30.
