ELLERSLIE. SATURDAY. On Saturday morning the tracks were in good order, and a lot of useful work was got through. Before breakfast a heavy fog hung over the course, which made it very difficult to see some of the posts. Octoroon and Master Clements sprinted 5 furs at top on the grass, which took 1.2 3~ssecs, and the full distance in i.4 4-ssecs, they finished together. Glenora spurted 5 furs on the tan in 1.4 i-ssecs. Cavalry, Heywood, Haydn, First Gun, Luresome, Soultfish, Cuiragno, Apollonaris, and a number of others also worked.
