THE THAMES JOCKEY CLUB.
The Summer Meeting of the Thames Jockey Club will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, 26 and 27, and for it a very interesting programme has been arranged. The tabulated list o even s is as follows First Day: Maiden Handicap of 35SOVS, 7,furlongs; First Hurdles of 65SOVS, 2 miles; Goldfields Cup of ioosovs, ii miles; Welter Handicap of 4osovs, one mile; First Handicap Steeplechase of 75 SOVS > 2 i miles; Stewards Handicap of 45SCOVS, 7 furlongs; Hack Race of 30S0VS, 6 furlongs; Borough Handicap of 40S0VS, 5 furlongs. On the second day the events are the Second Maiden Handicap of 35 SOVS > 6 furlongs; Thames Hurdles of 65SOVS, 6 furlongs; Midsummer Handicap of 40S0VS, 7 furlongs; Second Hack Race of 35SOVS, 5 furlongs; Thames Stakes of Bosovs, one mile; County Handicap of 45SOVS, 6 furlongs; Thames Steeplechase of Bosovs, 3 miles; Final Handicap of 40S0VS, 4 furlongs. Full particulars of the various events will be found in our advertising columns. Owners should specially take note of the fact that all entries must be sent to Mr W. H. Potts, the Secretary, Box 7, P. 0., Thames, or to Mr H. B. Massey, 10 High street, not later than Friday, November 16, at 8 p.m.. No doubt there will be a generous response to the invitation.
