GISBORNE RACING CLUB’S WINTEB MEETING. FIRST DAY. For the first day of the Gisborne Racing Club’s Steeplechase Meeting the weather was fine, but windy. There was a large attendance. The results were as follows: — HURLDE RACE. —Cuiragno, 10.13, 1; Kaipetipeti, 9.9, 2. These were t!he only starters. Won easily by a length. Time, 3min 24 l-ssec. Dividend, £1 Bs. MAIDEN SCURRY HANDICAP. — Soultite 1, Amusement 2, Satiety 3. Other starters: Glenafric, Blackfish, San Cruz, Momotoa, Alcohol, Stroller, Uncle Tom, Hiniora, Lord Reynard. Won by a length. Time, 52% sec. Dividends, £3 17s and £1 14s. FLYING HANDICAP. —Forest Ranger, 9.2, 1; Marangi, 9.0, 2; Gladsmuir, 9.4, 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, Imin 17 l-ssec. Dividends, £3 6s and £2 2s. SECOND DAY. The Gisborne Racing Club’s meeting concluded on Friday in fine weather. The amount put through the totalisator for the two days was £11,534, against £B4Bl last year. The results were as follows: — HURDLE RACE.—Cuiragno, 11.10, 1; Kaipetipti, 10.9, 2; Anadeja, 10.9, 3.
