ALBERT V OR has proved himself a higb-clase performer in trotting races of the colony, one of exceptional brilliancy, and the fact, that he has covered a mile on the track at Alexandra Park, which is several seconds slower than the graded tracks in Canterbury, in 2min. 23secs.,. proves to wh<t a pitch he can eany his speed. In private he has shown for half a mile better than a 2.20 gait, and he also performed w< ll up to two miles. ALBERT VICTOR’S sire, Albert W.. holds a record of 2.20, and is the sire of several in the select list, while his grandsire Electioneer, has more star peif ertners than any other sire in America. Victorine, dam of Albert Victor, is by Echo, who has sired a loirg list of first-dass ; erf ormers, and one of his daughters is dam of Direet 2.06, one of America’s champions.
