PIGEON SHOOTING.
A pigeon shooting match between Mr J. C. Oldbury and Dr. Raynor was fired off at Ellerslie on. Saturday. The wet weather was not in favour of the fixture, but the knights of the trigger ,are not usually deterred 1 y moisture, and although the rain descended steadily on Saturday afternoon, the two opponents met at the trysting place to fight out their battle.
