AUCKLAND COURSING, CLUB’S JUNE MEETING.

The Challenge Stakes Meeting of the Auckland Coursing Club was brought to a close yesterday at the Avondale Plumpton. Although the weather was showery there was a fairly good; attendance. Several policemen were present, and they warned the bookmakers and the general public that no betting would be permitted, and therefore no attempt to wager was indulged in. The following are the results : — CHALLENGE STAKES. Third Round.— Wisdom beat Alice-' Hawthorne, Favonius beat Master Razzle after an undecided.
