NEW ZEALAND A GOOD MARKET FOR OIL—A MILLION AND A HALF GALLONS BY THE COLLINGHAM.
The frequent arrival of steamers at New Zealand ports, direct from New York, with large shipments of oil, gives some idea of the rapidly increasing local consumption. The Collingham recently brought over a million and a-half gallons. Including petroleum, benzine, naptha, and turps. Forty thousand cases were lauded at Auckland. The pictures Illustrate the operations on the Queen Street wharf.
