WEST COAST CHAMPIONSHIP SWIMMING CARNIVAL.

For the West (’oast Championship Swimming Carnival, held at Feilding on February 12, there was splendid weather, and a very successful meeting resulted. The group on the left shows Wanganui’s victorious water polo team: Back row: Venhall (judge). Swan, Forking (steward). Second row: Collins. Brown. Schofield. Spear. Front row: Bridges. Bassett (captain), Campbell. In the middle photo, the figure on the left is A. Bridges, winner of the 440yds Championship, and A. Campbell, who won the 100yds and 220yds Championships. The third group shows the Wanganui team, which won the relay race. Back row: Payne (manager), Spear, Forking (Steward). Front row: Bridges, Campbell, Collins.
