RHEUMATISM NIGHT AND DAY. LINIMENTS AND EMBROCATIONS OF NO AVAIL. This Man got no Belief until ha Drove the Rheumatic Poison from his Blood. “I became subject to attacks of Rheumatism some time back,” said Mr Christopher. “The pain first showed itself in the left ankle, and spread up the limb as far ae the knee. The right leg became affected in the same way. The pains increased and I felt twinges in my arms and fingers, though, not as severely as in my lower limbs. The attacks would last fully a week at a time, and I’d have to stay in bed at least two days in each of those weeks suffering acutely. I couldn’t put on boots, I had to have the easiest of slippers while the pains were in my system. I’d have to walk with a stick, or rather hobble along slowly, and every step or movement caused me pain. As to getting upstairs to bed it was torture. I used to rub the parts with vaseline and methylated spirits to get a little temporary ease. At times I couldn’t put my feet to the ground, the agony was unbearable. The ankles were as stiff as iron and red and inflamed. At night I’d lay awake tor hours. I’d have to keep my knees almost up to my chin. I couldn’t put my legs out straight. After perhaps a week of these tortures the pains would ease off, and I might be free for a couple of months and then be .attacked again. At last seeing that Dr. Williams’ Pink Pills cured Rheumatism, I tried a box. Before that was finished I felt the pain lessening. 1 bought another and another after that, and gradually the Rheumatism left my system. I shall always be glad to recommend this medicine, it has been of the greatest benefit to me."

ANOTHER CHRISTCHURCH curf, Mrs Samuel Golding, 6, Vogel-street, Richmond, Christchurch, says:— "Some years back I became almost crippled with Rheumatism. It appeared first in my hands, spread up my arms, and went to both legs. I used to suffer most dreadfully, my hands were practically useless. Every knuckle and joint swelled up. 1 couldn’t hold a needle or do my hair or dress myself. I fortunately bad my children about me, or I don't know what I should have done. Some weeks I could hardly lift a tea cup to my lips. I felt helpless. The least change of weather set the pains going. One day a neighbour said, “Mrs Golding, why don’t you take Dr. Williams’ Pink Pills?" So I bought a couple of boxes. 1 felt better after the second box and kept on. Bit by bit the stiffness went out of every joint. The swellings got less and my fingers got less knotted up. At last I was quite rid of Rheumatism, and able to use each limb as I wished."
