Parkerson, photo. SOAPING THE WAIROA GEYSER AT WHAKAREWAREWA. There was great thermal activity at Whakarewarewa last week, both the Cauldron and Pohutu giving good displays. A number of Salvation Army officials visited Rotorua, and the great Wairoa geyser was soaped, and a cinematograph record was secured of the fine shot which followed.
