THE SESSION BEGINS—HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR OPENS PARLIAMENT.
The opening of the second session of New Zealand's seventeenth Parliament took place on Thursday afternoon, though much of the spectacular interest was lost on Recount of the small accommodation for the public in the temporary buildings. His Excellency was accompanied by his aide-de-camp and private secretary, and was escorted by the lleretaunga Mounted' Rifles.
