In the first grade matches of the championship scries under the auspices of tire Auckland Rngby Union the results were: City (14) v. Parnell (3); Grafton (6) v. Wellington, The senior Rugby matches resulted as follows: Poneke beat Melrose by 17 Sointa to nil; Oriental beat Wellington y 25 to 6; Petone beat Victoria College by 40 to 3; and St. James’ beat Southern 8 to nil. Christchurch. The senior grade matches resulted:. lAlbion (6) beat Linwood (nil); Christehurch (11) beat Canterbury College [(3); Merivale (6) beat Sydenham (nil). Waikite defeated City by 17 points to nil on Saturday, and Kahukura beat Whaka by 9 to nil. Waikato. Oltaupo beat City team at Cambridge by 6 to nil. Hamilton No. 1 beat Suburbs by 8 to 3. Thames. ~ The senior cup match between City and Country resulted in a win for City by 5 io 3. ASSOCIATION. Tn the senior division of the Association game played under the auspices of the Auckland Association the results .were: Corinthian (5 goals) beat iW.Y.M.T. (nil) ; Caledonian (5 goals) beat Y.M.C.A. (1); and North Shore 'drew with Ponsonby (1 goal each). In ■the second grade Tabernacle beat Gordon « to 1, United beat Y.M.CA. 3 to nil, North Shore'beat Corinthian 5 to nil.
