NEW PLYMOUTH.

April 10. Personal Items. Miss Dora Bedford, New Plymouth, spent the Easter holidays with Miss O. Green, Hawera. Messrs. Slow, B. Whiteombe and McCard, New .Plymouth, have been on a short holiday trip to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. H. Stocker and Miss Vera Simpson, New Plymouth, have returned after an enjoyable trip to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Horrocks, Feilding, are the guests of Mrs. Quilliam, the latter’s mother, New Plymouth. Mrs. Paget (Stratford) and Miss Olive Mackay, New Plymouth, have gone for a trip to Auckland. Miss Brewster, New Plymouth, is the guest of Mrs. W. Kerr, Wanganui. Miss Jean Mackay, and Miss Dollie Saunders are spending their Easter holidays with Mrs. Mackay, the former’s mother, New Plymouth. Miss Horrocks, who has been the guest of Mrs. Quilliam, New Plymouth, has returned to her home in Parnell. Mrs. Paul and Mrs. Gerald Paul, who have been staying in New Plymouth, have returned to Blenheim. Messrs. Colbeck, Gillies, E. Dargaville and J. Burns, Auckland, are playing in the Easter golfing tournament, New Plymouth. Mr. and Miss Leatham, and Mrs. and Miss Blundell have returned to New Plymouth after a pleasant trip to Auckland and Rotorua, returning home via Wanganui River. Messrs. Bert Chaney, Johnston., C. Gray, and Dr. Blackley all journeyed to Wellington last week, to attend the marriage of Dr. MeDiarmid (formerly of New Plymouth), and Miss Annie Littlejohn, of Wellington. Mr. Chaney acted as best man, and the three others as groomsmen. Miss Laura Brown, who has been visiting her home in Inglewood, has returned to New Plymouth. Miss Vera Gilmour, New Plymouth, is Visiting her home in Auckland.

Miss Calders has returned to Wellington, after her pleasant trip to New Plymouth, where she was the guest of Miss K. Hal).
