SECOND DRAW COMPLETED. WINS FOR PARNELL. AUCKLAND, AND PONSONBY. The second series of championship matches was concluded on Saturday afternoon, Parnell, Auckland, and Ponsonby scortag wins. PARNELL V. UNITED. United, with a score of 198 to top and with 21 runs to their credit, continued batting, and when one wicket was down for 90 the last year's champions were thought to be fairly safe; but after the dismissal of D. Hay and D. Clayton, none of the others except Slotnan were able to do anything with the bowling, and the innings closed with the score 15 short of the required total. AUCKLAND V. GORDON. Gordon replied to Auckland's 178 with the poor total of 93, Auckland thus winning by 85. Auckland in their second innings made 117 for 8 wickets. Scores:— PONSONBY V. NORTH SHORE.
