After the resolutions affirming the desirability of annexing the Islands had been carried a Parliamentary press correspondent met Mr Seddon in the lobby of the House. “The Premier seemed much elated,” savs the pressman and remarked to me as he passed, “Tell them the word is ‘SEDDONIA! T”—*3T — SEDDONIA!’”
