AN IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION.
THE TRUTH AT LAST. Almost every newspaper one opens is crammed with cables regarding the war, and there are so many false rumours that it severely taxes one's discretionary powers to decide what to believe. Many are the forcible words uttered by the newspaper reader whose brain is constantly being fed upon contradictory reports, so that it is quite a relief when he comes across anything reliable, amongst the items that fill the newspapers. A reporter of a local journal recently had something of great importance brought to his notice .and would not rest satisfied until he had personally called upon the only person who could supply him with the' facts of the matter. The lady interviewed was none other than Mrs John Bowman, the well-known storekeeper of Ahipara, Mangonui. This is Mrs Bowman's story:—“As you are aware I have a store here, and am pretty well known all about the district. It is now .seven years since I contracted rheumatism in the legs and hands. The dull aching pains were terrible. My fingers at times became stiff and almost useless, and I could scarcely move the affected joints in my legs. For seven long years I endured this pain, everything I tried proving .useless. Then I tried Dr. Williams’ pink pills, and the first box proved of benefit. Six boxes completely cured me. I am now quite active. Please publish this as it might be the means of doing some other poor people good.” It is not generally known that rheumatism is a disease of the blood and can only exist when the blood is in an impoverished or disordered state. Dr. Williams’ pink pills, by their tonie action on the blood and nerves, eradicate the foundation of disease and thus cure paralysis, consumption, bronchitis, lung troubles, neuralgia, sciatica. effects of fever, ague, and influenza, dyspepsia, insomnia, sick headaches, anaemia, vital losses, ladies’ ailments, etc. Sold by chemists and storekeepers—bat mind you ask for Dr. Williams'. Never accept as Dr. Williams’ any package which has not the full name iu red on the white outside w rapper. If you do so you are trifling with-'health and wasting monev.
