IN KAWHIA COUNTY. The attention of intending settlers Is called to the Opening for Settlement under the Optional Clauses of the Land Act, 1892, of some 54,000 acres of Good Grazing Lands, on the 18th April. These Lands form portion of what is known aa the King Country, and are generally of limestone to volcanic formation, and are also generally speaking forest covered lands, well watered. The sections have been surveyed into suitable areas, most of them are accessible by roads either formed or in process of formation and distant about 25 miles from Te Awamutu Railway Station, and 12 miles from Te Kulti or Hangitiki Railway Stations. Areas from 5 acres to 178 acres. Rentals from 12/3 to £1 per acre per annum. Open for selection on sth April, 1900. WHITEHALL SETTLEMENT, AUCKLAND.—Situate 5 miles from Cambridge, Waikato, 8954 acres agricultural Land, divided into 9 farms. Areas from 600 acres to 1446 acres. Rentals from 3d to 2/6 per acre per annum. Open for selection on-9th April, 1900. UNIMPROVED RURAL LAND IN KING COUNTRY OPEN FOR OPTIONAL SELECTION. 54,392 acres Forest Land, from fair to rich in quality, close to Kawhia Harbour and Te Kuhl Railway Station.
