RENAMING THE DAYS.
Why should we be afflicted every day with the name of some enumeraone of these old Saxon gods ? Well, we might improve on them by using the some tion as the Portuguese do, viz :— Domingo The Lord’s day. Segundo Feira The second created day. Terta FeiraThe third created day. Quarta FeiraThe fourth created day. Quinta Feira .. The fifth created day. Sexta FeiraThe sixt h created day. Sabbado Feira The Sabbath day.
