Dear Bee, July 11. i have given you a descript ion in ‘Topics’ of the jolly evening we spent at. (’able Bay. Among some of those pre sent, were, Mr ami Mrs Percy Adams, Mr ami Mrs Browning. Miami Mrs Wood, Mrs Leggatt. Mr and Mrs J. Wood, Mrs J. Sharp, Mrs Mackay, Misses < fidham. Pit t, Jones, Mackay. Broad. Wooil, Heaps, Watson, Airy, and Messrs Harden. Wither. Fox. Fcarnie, Broad, Atkinson, James, Moore, Leggatt, Pitt, Heaps, Allen and <Jreen. Last. Weilnesday we spent a pleasant time at Mrs Mackay’s, when she gave a small dance. I noticed there Mesdames Percy Adams, J. Sharp, Bunny, Misses lluddlestone, Jones, Scaly, Pr<shaw, McDonald. Godfrey, Edwards, and Messrs Harden. Fox. Garrett, Duncan, Graves, Rake. Wit her. Macdonald, and Marshall. There were no new’dresses worn, so I w ill not describe the different. gowns present. Mrs Ledger is giving a children’s fancy dress hall next Friday, so there is immense excitement among the small fry at present. I hope I shall be able to get a glimpse of some of the little cos t nines, as 1 hear rumours of several pretty ones which are to grace the occasion.
