T©wr©m Mr. A. W. KITTERIDGE Mennie's Buildings Symonds Street (next Lyric Theatre) Is displaying a remarkably fine collection of Tortoise-shell —Delicately carved Combs, such as one associates with the mantilla-covered head of some daughter of Spain; Armlets of snake design, and curiously wrought Boxes for the holding of trinkets, etc. A most beautiful and intricate piece of work is a Tortoise-shell Clock, the creation of which must have demanded long hours of patient effort. The range of colours and markings of the shell is enchanting. Special admiration will be given for the glorious tint that distinguishes the rare examples of "golden" shell. Mr. A. W. Kitteridge will also make up customers' own designs, and he invites you to inspect his collection without obligation to buy.
