Surf dale Sonnets No. 1 How the Sadness of Hubby &Wifie Turned to Gladness t-TUBBY was gloomy, and wifie sad, and none of the children were really glad, for, penned like cattle in city streets, they missed the seaside and all its treats. Till a mutual friend, who saw their plight, gave them a booklet to read, one nighta booklet that told of the Surfdale scheme, where life could be lived as a perfect dream; and for eightpence a day a man could own, a kingdom as good as a King’s on his throne, with silver beaches and crested surf, and native bush and soft green turf. An island home that was home indeed; from all the troubles of city freed, where he and his wife and kids could roam; yes, for eightpence a day they could own this home. So straight away they bought a lot, and all their troubles were soon forgot. I he moral of this, as you will allow, “Go there and do likewise, and—DO IT NOW!” BdL a Day Buys a Section at Surfdale Oneroa Beach Estates 154 Queen St., Auckland
