Calling on Natives claiming to be interested in Northern Part of Motiti Island to notify the same.
WHEREAS at a meeting of the Patuwai Tribe, held at Tauranga in the month of February, 1886, the names of 187 Natives were decided upon as the beneficial owners of the northern portion of Motiti B Block (part of Motiti Island), containing 166 acres, in terms of an exchange of land made between certain Natives of that tribe and George Alexander Douglas : And whereas the list of names of the 187 has been lost: And whereas the names of the persons hereinafter mentioned have been submitted to the Court as the names of some of the said 187 Natives: Now, therefore, notice is hereby given to all persons objecting to any of these names as not being in the original list, or claiming on behalf of themselves or others to have further names which appeared in the original list added, are required to supply full information to me at once in order that the matter may be finally dealt with by the Court.
