MESSAGE No. 10.

Referring to a resolution of the House of Representatives, No. 10 of 21st of June, Session 1, requesting that the House might be furnished with "a Return of the amount of Land Scrip awarded by the New Zealand Company on the Government, as compensation to sufferers in respect of land, purchased from the Company, in their settlements of Wellington and Whanganui," ike.; and to Message No. 11, of the Ist of July, relating thereto, —His Excellency the Officer administering the Government forwards to the House, a copy of a letter which has been received from Mr. Commissioner Bell on this subject.
