His Excellency the Officer administering the Government transmits to the House of Representatives copies of the correspondence alluded to in the Resolution of the 6th instant, No. 19, requesting the House to be furnished with "a return of all correspondence between Governor Grey and the Colonial Office, On the subject of the publication, in the Southern Cross, of Governor Grey's letter to the Bishop of New Zealand, dated August 30th, 1847, excepting such portions «f that correspondence as have been already printed in the Blue Book."
