MESSAGE No. 6.

His Excellency the Officer administering the Government transmits to the House of Representatives "A Return of the amount of additional Duty received on Spirits since the imposition of increased duty of one shilling per gallon, to the 31 st December, 1853," in accordance with a Resolution of the 27th ultimo, requesting that the House might be furnished with such a Return.
