Development Programme : Twenty-seven houses, twenty-five cow-sheds, twenty-nine implementsheds, six sets yards, twenty-five piggeries, 920 chains roads, 150 chains farm tracks, 5,440 chains fencing, twenty-nine artesian bores, 6,000 acres regrassing and consolidation of sand-dunes. Progress : 200 acres marram grass planted, 200 acres tussock cleared and blows fascined. Further progress awaiting location of road. Tangimoana, at Tangimoana, 1,600 acres. Acquired: Previously Crown land. Objective: Not yet schemed. Development Programme : Scheme of roading and subdivision now being prepared. Development Programme: 150 acres scrub to be cleared, 335 chains fencing, 170 chains repair fences, five houses, five implement-sheds, five sets yards, 1 mile of roading, 52 chains of tracks, eight stockdams. Progress : All completed. Five ex-servicemen on fixed charges—two from March, 1949, three from July, 1949. Tauroa, at Pahiatua, 1,623 acres. Acquired : 1,454 acres February, 1947, and 169 acres October, 1946. Objective : Two sheep-farms for allotment July, 1948.
