" 5. That it shall consider what measures need to be taken to ensure peace, justice, and harmony among the people of Palestine preparatory to its emergence as an independent and democratic State, "6. That it shall give most careful consideration to the religious interests in Palestine of Islam, Jewry, and Christendom, "7. That the Special Committee shall prepare and submit a report of its findings and recommendations, not later than 1 September, 1947, to the Secretary-General, who shall circulate copies thereof to the member States of the United Nations in time for consideration by the Second Regular Session of the General Assembly."
