(a) Represents travelling-expenses of widow and daughters visiting Christclrarch in connection with sudden illness and deatli of officer while there on official duties. (b) £4,000 provided on main estimates. Further provision required to meet expenditure incurred through Kaiapoi, Temuka, and Kaitangata floods. (c) £500 provided on main estimates. Additional provision made for demonstration at Gisborne. (d) The contribution is one-third of cost, with a maximum of £5,000. (e) £400 provided on main estimates.
