There were 185 candidates for the Entrance Scholarship Examination, 35 gaining scholarships, 77 others passing the examination with credit, and 63 qualifying for matriculation. The number of candidates for the Matriculation Examination was 4,586, of whom 2,217 passed the whole examination.
