Shooting teams have been sent to England on three occasions to compete at the meeting of the National Rifle Association at Bisley, at an approximate average cost, each time, of £1,696. A shooting team was also sent in October, 1907, to compete at the Australian Rifle Association Meeting at Randwick, at a cost of £308. In Nelson District a special fund of £1,000, the interest of which is annually competed for as rifle prizes. Regulations 425-30, 541, 547. Classes of instruction Classes of Instruction. Attendance at classes of instruction is credited for company drills held during absence. Free railway passes and passages by sea to attend classes.
