I have the honour, by direction, to inform you that the Roslyn Borough Council, at a meeting held on the 15th instant, passed the following resolution, namely: " This Council deeply regrets the sudden death of the late Prime Minister of the colony, the Right Hon. R. J. Seddon, and expresses its high appreciation of the services rendered by him to the colony, especially in connection with the strengthening of the Imperial sentiment and drawing closer the bonds of loyalty and affection between the colonies and the Mother-country.
