The difficulties that were at one time chronic between the Board and certain members of the medical staff have happily disappeared, owing to a juster appreciation of the immense value to the hospital and the province of the medical school. The new operating theatre is designed on the most approved ideas of modern surgery. The old theatre is to be converted into a kitchen, thus removing the worst feature of the old arrangements. The Trustees, and especially their Chairman, take the greatest interest in all that concerns the welfare of this the most important of all our hospitals.
