RECEIPTS FROM CARRIAGE OF GOODS, ETC., BY RAILWAY FOR YEAR ENDED 31st MARCH, 1883.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 14th August, 1883. Ordered, "That there be laid upon the table a return showing the several amounts received under the headings wool, timber, grain, merchandise, minerals, firewood, parcels, dogs, horses, cattle, and sheep, which make up tho total sum of £403,420 2s. 2d., given in Return No. 4, attached to the Public Works Statement."— (Mr. E.
