SINKING FUNDS.

REPORT AND ACCOUNTS OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE PUBLIC DEBTS SINKING FUNDS FOB THE NINE MONTHS ENDED 31st MARCH, 1883.

Laid before both Houses of the General Assembly in compliance with the 6th section of " The Public Debts Sinking Funds Act, 1868."*

REPOET. Sir, — Government Buildings, Wellington, 27th June, 1883. The Commissioners of the Public Debts Sinking Funds have the honour to lay before Parliament their report and accounts for the nine months ending 31st March last. The accounts have been made up for that period in conformity with the requirements of section 15 of " The Public Revenues Act, 1882." Nothing in the proceedings of the Commissioners has occurred during the period to call for remark. I have, &c, James Edward EitzGeeald, Chairman of the Commissioners of the Public Debts Sinking Funds. The Hon. the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
