Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, No. 30, 13th July, 1876. " That there be laid upon the Table a Return of the quantity of Land that has been purchased by the Government from the Natives in the Mangonui, Hokianga, and Bay of Islands Districts, under the Immigration and Public Works Acts ; also, quantity of Land under negotiation, and a statement showing the general quality of tho Land purchased, as far as can be ascertained from reports of Surveyors."— (Mr. Williams.)
