Ordered, That the Correspondence between the Government and the Telegraph Construction Company, concerning a proposal to lay a Submarine Cable between New Zealand and Tasmania, laid on the table this day, be referred to the Telegraph Cable Committee, with an instruction to print such portions thereof as they may think fit. Ordered, That the correspondence between the Hon. the Postmaster-General and J. W. Blackett, Esq., Manager of the Telegraph Construction and Maintenance Company, concerning a proposal to lay a Submarine Cable between New Zealand and Tasmania, laid on the table this day, be referred to the Submarine Cable Committee.
