POLLY. PETER AND WALLABY. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Marching triumphantly along the road, they suddenly met two little boys. Now these little boys were rather rude; they pretended they could not tell which was the Guy and which was Richard. They thought possibly Gwendoline might be the Guy, but were not quite sure.

LAURELS FOR DUNEDIN.—St. Kilda Brass Band, which won the A grade contest at Wanganui last Saturday, with 275½ points for music and marching. Its nearest rival, Queen Alexandra’s Own (Wanganui) secured 269½ points. In the centre of our photograph, wearing many decorations, is the St. Kilda band conductor, Mr. James Dixon.
